No, upgrading the Android version on GVC3200/GVC3202 is not supported.

Can I use third-party Android applications like Zoom Cloud Meetings, Cisco Webex Meetings on GVC3200/3202?

As of May 2020, Zoom Cloud Meetings and Cisco WebEx Meetings applications from Google Play require Android 5.0 and later versions, which are not supported on GVC3200/3202.

Does Grandstream allow HTTPS provisioning with Grandstream Internal Certificate?

Yes, Grandstream allows HTTPS provisioning with its own certificate. If the server requires a certificate for authentication, our devices can send an internally generated certificate to authenticate across all Grandstream devices. If you wish to use this feature, please contact our Grandstream Support for GS Certificate.

Note: This is not the same as “HTTP/HTTPS” username/password, this option is for authentication after the connection is established.

How can I use the recording feature during a conference?

During a conference call, the user can initiate/terminate recording by pressing the * button on the remote control or by clicking the recording icon on the bottom menu bar of the call screen.

Where are the recording files stored?

Recording files can be stored in three different ways: Local (using existing internal storage), SD card, and USB storage device (if attached to GVC320x). Users can change the default recording path from GVC320x LCD -> Applications -> Recording -> Settings.

Can I remotely download the recording files?

Yes, users can download recording files from the GVC3200/GVC3202 web user interface -> Maintenance -> Recording.

How can I create and save a backup configuration from GVC3200/GVC3202?

On the GVC3200/GVC3202 LCD menu, go to Applications -> Backup and press the Red button to create a new backup configuration.

Note: Backup file location can be changed from internal location to SD card or USB by accessing Backup settings.

Can I backup third-party applications when creating a backup?

Yes, while creating a backup, the user will be asked if they want to backup third-party applications in a customizable/selective manner.

How can I enable/disable the DND option on GVC3200/GVC3202?

DND can be enabled by pressing the Mute button on the remote control or by clicking “DND” in the top right corner of the web user interface.

How can I Factory Reset my GVC3200/GVC3202?

Users can Factory Reset GVC3200/GVC3202 from the Web interface or the LCD menu:

From the Web interface: Maintenance -> Upgrade and scroll down to click the Reset button.
From the LCD menu: Settings -> Maintenance -> Factory Reset.

How can I check the current hardware firmware version on GVC3200/GVC3202?

The firmware version can be checked from the System Version section of the Status Page on the Web interface or from the LCD menu using Settings -> Status -> System -> System Version.

How can I upgrade the hardware firmware of my GVC3200/GVC3202?

GVC3200/GVC3202 supports firmware upgrades through the following methods:

Manually load the firmware file to upgrade (only for valid firmware versions).
Upgrade through TFTP manufacturer firmware server.
Upgrade through HTTP/HTTPS manufacturer firmware server.

How many accounts does GVC3200/GVC3202 support?

GVC3200/GVC3202 supports up to 4 different accounts:

(1) SIP Account: Can be registered to any SIP Server/IPPBX or used for IP calls with another SIP endpoint.
(2) H.323 Account: Can be registered to any Gatekeeper/H.323 Platform or used for IP calls with another H.323 endpoint.
(3) IPVideoTalk Account: Can be registered to IPVideoTalk cloud service, please refer to www.ipvideotalk.com.
(4) BlueJeans Account: Can be used for joining Bluejeans meetings without the need to install the Bluejeans application.

The upgrade process was interrupted, and now the remote control is not working. How can I recover?

(1) Go to GVC LCD menu -> Settings -> Network -> Bluetooth, unpair the remote control.
(2) Go to GVC LCD menu -> Status -> Remote Control, check for updates, then call the device.
(3) Select the remote control from this screen. If not discoverable, press and hold “OK” (the middle circular button) and “5” buttons on the remote control simultaneously for 5 seconds. This should trigger the remote control for upgrading.
(4) If the remote control is still not found, please follow the steps below:
a. Remove the battery for 30 seconds, then put it back.
b. Go to GVC LCD menu -> Status -> Remote Control -> check for updates, select the “GS OTA Upgrade” for upgrading.
c. If you successfully upgraded, unpair the remote control and then press “OK” + “5” buttons to establish the connection for it to work.

What is the format and maximum capacity of the external USB storage device supported by GVC320x?

Formats supported are NTFS, FAT, EXFAT, FAT32, and FAT12. The maximum capacity depends on the format (see below), but external HDD up to 4TB (if formatted in NTFS or EXFAT) is supported.

Please note:

The maximum current on the GVC320x USB port is 500mA. If the external USB storage device requires more current, the USB port on GVC320x alone may not provide enough power for the USB external device.
USB storage devices with multiple partitions are currently not supported.

What security standards and mechanisms are supported by GVC3200/GVC3202?

User and admin level passwords, MD5 and MD5-sess-based authentication, 256-bit AES encrypted configuration file, TLS, 128/256-bit SRTP, HTTPS, 802.1x media access control.

Which audio and video codecs does GVC3200/GVC3202 support?

Video: H264 (Base, Main, and High Profiles).
Audio: PCMU/PCMA, G.722, G.722.1, and Opus.

Please note that Opus is supported only on SIP and BlueJeans accounts.

What video resolutions are supported by GVC3200/GVC3202?

Supported resolutions include 1080p, 720p, VGA, 4SIF, and 4CIF, up to 30 fps. Variable Frame Rate is also supported.
